Car wont play pandora unless music app is installed and view all purchases is enabled

Car wont play Pandora unless music app is installed and view all purchases is enabled. Even with cellular and wifi off for the music app it will still play songs from my purchased list; even if I turn the services off on the phone and not just the app. I tried to delete the Music app to see if my 2012 Honda Accord USB aux would see the Pandora playing however it says "No Songs" even if Pandora is open and playing. I am using the cable that came with the phone and I have tried several other cables so its not a cable issue. It only registers that there are songs playing through Pandora if the app is installed, and purchases are enabled. if I turn the purchases off it again says "No Songs".
