Can anyone tell me how to turn of predictive text (but NOT spell check) in Sonoma 14.1.1?
I find it extremely irritating to have to correct what I write when I find that the software has 'guessed' and inserted a word which is not the word I typed. I then have to check everything. This feature is a real pain.
The spell check feature is of course a blessing!

This is usually where I go to enable/disable correct spelling or show inline predictive texts... Hope it helps you.

FWIW, that will fix it. Just a hint, typing into the search field will often lead to settings you are looking for, i.e. "predi…".
