Create iPhone local area network in non internet area with no electricity

Scenario: Remote cabin. No electricity. Just iPhones and some Airplay speakers (charged up during day with camping solar). No wi-fi router.

Would like to create a LAN on the phone so the Phone has wi-fi which the Airplay speakers can join so they can play music files brought with us on the phone. How?

3.5 AUX not present on speakers.

A brief internet search leads me to believe what you want to do is difficult if not impossible. If you have a Mac, I think you can set up an ad hoc network from there. But, obviously, a Mac uses a lot more power than an iPhone.

If it were me, I'd get some BT speakers.

Are you sure the speakers don't support Bluetooth? If they do, that would be the easiest option.
