Using FreeStyle Libre 2

On my iPhone8 iOs 16.7.2 I am using FreeStyle Libre (from Abbott) version 2 to measure my glucose with a sensor placed on my arm.

It seems that FreeStyle Libre does not support iOs 16.7.2, the sensor does not always connect correctly

to my iPhone.

Is this a know problem and is there a way to solve this? The recommended iOs version is 16.1, but I do not want to downgrade and loose my security upgrades.

iPhone 8, iOS 16

When you read the write up by App developer on these app, none of these apps show compatibility with the iOS Health App.

FreeStyle Libre 3 – US on the App Store

FreeStyle Libre 2 - US on the App Store

FreeStyle LibreLink - US on the App Store

At the same time the Blood Glucose Section in the Health shows few Apps and Freestyle Libre is not one of them.

Probably you are using third-party apps and/or a third-party device.

If you are experiencing any difficulty with third-party apps or a specific website or a product then please contact the app developer or site publisher/host or the manufacturer directly. Here is how

  • To contact an App developer --> How to contact an app developer - Apple Support
  • To contact a web publisher —> Scroll Down to the bottom of the web page. You will find: Contact Us, Help Center, Support, Terms of use, etc.
  • To contact the Manufacturer --> Please read the manual that may have come along with the product.
