Azure P2S VPN - DNS is partially working on local machines

We have an Azure VPN Gateway with P2S configuration. The Azure VPN clients were configured with the XML file containing the private DNS server and necessary DNS suffixes.

The DNS resolution works fine for Windows and some MacOs systems without issues. We can resolve the DNS names of the private endpoints in Azure by using either the portal or the Azure CLI terminal on our local machines.

For some of our MacOs clients, however, it only works partially: DNS resolution works well to access private resources via Azure portal, but there is a problem to access these same resources from the MacOs terminal: It doesn´t resolve the DNS name of the private endpoints from the terminal.

So, my question is: What do we have to do on the MacOs client to make sure DNS resolution works well from the terminal as well since it does work from the portal (browser)?
