Windows Journal on iPad

Is the iPad able to run the Windows journal application or something very similar whereby you use a stylus and write on full A4 sized pages? I am used to using an IBM Thinkpad Tablet pc and used Windows Journal daily for recording meetings with clients. The functionality enables very easy retrieval of written notes for your normal file structure. When I asked about this on the high street I was shown an application that looked just like a notebook and a stylus as thick as my finger- no nib!! Other features of the iPad are attractive but it is no use for business for me if I can't achieve what I could in Windows Journal- can anyone advise??? Thank you

Ok, thanks. It sounds as though you use it for different purposes to what I require. I do need something which can accomodate large volumes of A4 written pages- for example I can sometimes write 15-20 pages of A4 in just an hour. Being able to save my notes in a robust filing system, for example based around clients and different projects within each client folder is also important to me. Doesn't sound like I am going to be in luck- I'll probably be heading back to an IBM tablet with Stylus and Windows Journal 😟

i use penultimate with the pogo sketch stylus to achieve that for myself...i'm not overly concerned with A4 vs A5, and probably couldn't tell which is which if handed both, but penultimate offers lined paper, plain paper, and graph paper...i use the lined and graph paper most, though for drawing sketches i use the plain. then i can take a screen shot and place it into pages. pretty handy...
