Finder File Search on Network Drive

My Mac is connected to a network drive residing on my client's server. I need to do a file search on their drive but the Mac is only looking locally on my machine. How can I get it to search the network drive?

Safari do not find Synology NAS server I have a MacBook Air (M1) and I connect a new Synology NAS (DS223j - 4T) through my administration user profile. Now I would like to allow my secondary user ( my wife ) to access to the new NAS server as well. The question is : How to setup and configure NAS driver from/for a user which is not administrator? I try : 1) to launch "find.synology.com" on Safari web browser and I get "impossible to find the NAS server in the LAN" 2) Installed Synology Driver but same error message "NAS server not found in the local net". Thanks for any help

There is a setting in Finder Settings to set the search location. Set it to current folder.

Then open drive and search.
