AirPods Pro 2 not connecting with MacBook and iPhones after updates to iOS 17 amd MacOS Sonoma

Cannot properly connect to my AirPods Pro 2 after updates to ios17 and macOS SONOMA. I called support. They told me to go to service center. Tried both 12 pro max and 15 pro max and MacBook Pro 16, 2019. All not working. Really frustrating the fact that you cannot downgrade to lower version. You should at least give the option to downgrade. At the same time, making sure that I can put back all my backup data.

Troubleshooting Mac Bluetooth:

Three Things to Try:

A. Verify the Connection:

See if the speaker is even seen:

  1. Hold Down: the Option key
  2. Click: the Apple menu
  3. Select:: About this Mac...
  4. Click: System Report... button
  5. Select: Bluetooth (on the left of screen)
  6. Look For: this Speaker

B. Try Reseting the Core Audio:

Type the following command in Terminal:

sudo killall coreaudiod

C. Perform a SMC and NVRAM Reset:

Sometimes changes are made to the system(i.e. updates) and then settings (i.e. for Power) become manipulated, technically.  So, reset both the SMC and NVRAM on your Mac.

I am having a similar issue.

I think these are fake AirPods Pro Gen 2.

They pass all the inspections found on some websites to determine if they are legit or not.

Except they do not show in the find my AirPods. on my MacBook Pro 2019

They also are not as loud by about 10%.

They do not give the same messages as my AirPod Pro do. When pairing.

They are really good fakes I think.

Serial number is the same on the box as the case inside.

I have 2 brand new ones that have the same serial number on the outside of the box stickers.
