Can you set a custom screensaver in sonoma?

For the last 2 years I've used a screen saver that I'd downloaded ('grid clock' as a .saver file type, which changes with the time, a bit like flipiquo). It's a good screensaver and I want to keep using it, but I can't find a way to add a custom screensaver in sonoma. (I've already tried to put it in as a photo screensaver type from the 'other' section, but because it's a .saver file it just says the file's empty).

Basically, is there a way I can import my screensaver in, like you can a wallpaper?
