Apple press release

Apple announced earlier this year that Made for iPhone hearing devices can be paired directly to Mac and be customized to the user's hearing comfort. Does anyone know when this will happen and will it be implemented with software updates or will we have to buy a new MacBook?

MacBook Air, macOS 14.1
