Unable to pair AirPods 3 with any device and white light constantly blinking

Hi,

Recently, I suspect with the upgrade of latest firmware (6A300) my AirPods (3rd generation) stopped working. As soon as I open my AirPods case a white light constantly blinks as if its in pairing mode but my phone either detects it but doesn't connect or sometimes nothing changes on my phone so as to show that AirPods are active for connection. I found out that if I remove my earpiece(R) the white light stops but as soon as I put it back it starts again. After checking on some of the past conversations in this forum, one thing that appeared to work that would make atleast the earpiece(R) connect to the device this procedure.

  1. Plug the case to a charger
  2. Open the case
  3. Press the button on the case continuously and after 30+ seconds you could see amber light flashing.
  4. After #3, sometimes the white light disappears completely.

Though, the above process seems to be a hit or miss. Occasionally when it works only the right earpiece gets connected. The left earpiece appears as if its dead but I have sometimes seen both of them showing up on the battery widget but couldn't connect.

Any help on this please?
