Issues with MacBook Pro 2017 new battery

After installing a new battery, my MacBook Pro still show battery message:

Important Battery Massage

The battery's capacity is significantly reduced. To restore capacity, please check your service option

Battery Condition

Mac batteries, like all rechargeable batteries are consumable components that become less effective as they age. Service Recommended

Also my MacBook Pro 2017 will shut down if I unplug the power cord. It will not show the battery icon at the top of the window after I installed the new battery.

Is the new battery defective?

Did you reset the System Management Controller...?

Reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support see the details.

Also make sure that the flex cable is fully seated and the latch is closed. Some models have a connector & latch on both ends of the battery flex cable. This cable is not always easy to fit properly and can come loose when trying to line up the other end.

Plus many third party batteries need to be calibrated.

The quality of third party Lithium batteries is extremely poor as mentioned by @leroydouglas.
