OneNote is crashing on my iPad Air

Two weeks ago I updated my iPad Air 5th generation to iPadOS 17.1.1. Since then, my OneNote app started closing itself very frequently. I have tried to solve this issue by uninstalling and installing the app again, restarting the iPad, and resetting OneNote from settings.

None of the alternatives have solved the issue.

When I am using OneNote it still closes suddenly, presents problems for showing my notes, or stops working and closes.

I need to solve this issue as I use this app very often. Does anyone have a solution for this?

It seems to me that it is actual an issue from iPadOS side. One Note stops crashing as soon as you close the Stage Manager.

First off, make you are using the very latest version of OneNote, especially if you have disabled automatic app updating on your iPad. Next, try restarting your iPad, not just closing it. Finally, this is a Microsoft app so you might try visiting Microsoft’s support forums as celliott147 wisely suggested above.

Your best bet is to start with Microsoft as they are the developers of the One Note app.
