I want to upgrade my RAM. What vendor/brand/source is recommended?
If I remove the existing 2 x 4 GB, can I replace with OWC brand 64GW (2x32GB) PC4-21333 with a 2 x PC21300 2666Mhz SO-DIMM.

That would work. OWC RAM is often recommended.
Other World Computing, or Crucial.
Use the tools on their Web sites to find the memory that they say is compatible with your specific Mac.
I would only get RAM modules from either Crucial.com or OWC (MacSales.com). Both guarantee that the modules will work with the model they are sold for because the test them in that model.
You can bet both brands from Amazon or eBay but they will not be the same quality that the modules sold directly by the companies.
I used Crucial in my 2019 27" iMac.
Is Adamanta brand below worth twice the price in reliability. It says it's factory original and made by Samsung:

Not familiar with the brand. Twice the price? Looks like $10 more on Amazon than from OWC.
