iPhone gets super warm when using an Apple 35 watt charger

My newly purchased apple 35 watt charger when used with iPhone 14 Pro the phone now gets super warm to the touch

The Apple power adapter could get "very warm" when your phone is charging, but it should not get to the point where you can no longer touch or hold it in your hand. That may indicate an issue with the adapter.

Since you just purchased it, you have 14 days from the purchase date, to return it for either a replacement or a full refund.

thank You for your input. I’ve charged my phone and iPad at least twice since my initial query. Not sure if I mentioned this is a dual port device.

well surprisingly there is a bit of warmth to all three of them but far from the intensity from my initial use of the charger. So for now I’m content.
