My Magic Mouse is unresponsive despite the MacBook indicating it's connected by Bluetooth. HELP!

Blue tooth is on. Magic Mouse is fully charged and on. I press connect in Bluetooth settings. Bluetooth is locating the Mouse. It's connected. Move the mouse NOTHING happens I don't know how many attempts I have made Tried everything. Very Very Disappointed

Well Thanks for taking the time to reply. I have solved the problem. How did I do it? Well I took the power cable for charging the Magic Mouse and plugged it into the MacBook Air M2. went into setting and there was my mouse clicked Connect in Blue tooth Bingo it worked. Which just goes to prove there is more than one way to peal and Apple software!
