Clicked on "Remove This Device" within iPhone Account Settings and now the field is gone

Hello,

Within the Account Settings on my iPhone I clicked on "Remove This Device" and now the field is completely gone. There was this '>' sign right next to the field so I clicked to find out the other options within the field. Apparantly there were no other options and now the field is gone.

The description below the field said: "This device may be used with Automatic Downloads and can also download previously purchased apps and content".

Does anyone know how I can get that field back within the Account Settings on my iPhone? Or is this an old field that is no longer used since dowload options are being managed within the Appstore section of the Settings?

The attached image is from my iPad to illustrate the (yellow) field I mean.

Many thanks in advance,

SJW

Here are the processes for how to "Remove this device" and add it back to Media & Purchases.

Remove...(Probably you did this)

Here are the steps on what you took to remove a device from Media & Purchases on your iPhone:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on your name at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap on Media & Purchases.
  4. Tap on View Account.
  5. You may be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.
  6. Scroll down and tap on Remove This Device.

See the pic below (For Removal) which is self-explanatory

The action of removal will affect ---> "This device may be used with Automatic Downloads and can also download previously purchased apps and content."

Add the device...

Sign Out from Media & Purchase and Sign back in that's it. See the pic below which is self-explanatory
