the Apple stocks icon has gone from my ipone SE screen. i can open fhe App from the app store but the icon does not remain. everything is normal on my iPad. how do i get the icon back on my iphone screen?

If the App Store shows "Open" that means the app is currently installed on your iPhone.

Apps can be removed from the Home Screen without being deleted. Go to the App Library (swipe left past your last Home Screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it to the Home Screen.

Even if you have a stock widget on your screen, the Stocks app should also be on your screen. To remove the widget, press and hold until menu pops up and the tap "Remove Widget."

See my previous post for information on the Stocks app on the Home Screen. If the App Store shows open, the app is on your phone and can be added back to the Home Screen.
