iPhone 12 mini: received texts not vibrating

All of sudden my texts are not vibrating - even when in settings - sounds & haptics - I have set to vibrate on ring and vibrate on silent. WHY? I hate all the dings and other sounds available - just want vibrate to work as it has since I got this phone. I've tried turning it off, and also going through suggested steps someone asked in 2021. To no avail. Help please!

iPhone 14 not vibrating on silent mode when someone is calling or when i get a text message on my number Anyone has this same problem that when you switch to Silent Mode on iPhone 14 it doesn’t vibrate when you get calls and text messages on your phone number? And on other apps it works, for example when on Silent Mode if someone sends me a message on Instagram it vibrates.
