How to unlock MacBook Air Account that got locked

i tried to reset the password using Recovery Assistance but it still says locked account even in the reset option and I don’t have a recovery password too

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 14.1

Hi IamKingosibahh,

Unfortunately, if Recovery Assistant doesn't let you reset your password, you might have to erase your Mac.

Take a look at these steps and see if anything works in there. Unfortunately the last resort is to erase your Mac and start over: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/102673
