I have the ************* Macbook Pro 1TB and from the last 4 months it has been constantly heating especially as soon as i play a youtube video it starts to heat up and the fans turn on. even when not using youtube the fans are constantly on. it's a fairly new macbook and i only use it for studying and browsing and watching netflix so i dont use any hevay softwares but everyday it heats up. I previously had the 2013 model which i used for 7 plus years before getting this one and it hardly heated up thrice in those years but this new one heats up all day everyday. ref: MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports) - Technical Specifications

You do not say what exact macOS is this running...

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/Anti-Virus/VPN

all known to cause issues on the macOS

unplug all third party peripherals when testing

To trouble shoot further you can:

—A SafeBoot Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies

Does a quick disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled.

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.

This test will tell you if third party interference; most* extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

—Test issue in another user (or guest user) account Change Users & Groups settings on Mac - Apple Support

This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.

if no insight or resolve—

you can get a good look at your User/System config. and reveal conflicts or issues, you can download/run this trusted utility https://etrecheck.com

A dose of reality here. Any streaming video or video conferencing are among the most taxing things you can do with a computer. Even some web pages can be greedy of resources. My Macbook Pro is totally free of any useless utilities and its fans will speed up every time I use Zoom or watch movies. Even my iPad gets hot when watching videos.

There are physical workstation issue in overheating as well. The critical area for cooling on all Macbook Pros is the display hinge area where hot air is exhausted. I never let anything on the work space get within 4 inch or 100cm of the hinge.

Most 13-inch Macbook Pros also get cooling air through the keyboard. Flexible keyboard protectors/covers will make the computer run hot enough to kill it.

But, as Leroy points out, the most common heating causes are useless third-party utilities/"cleaners" sold by marketing fear.
