Homepod Mini: There's nothing in your music library

I have subscriptions for apple music. I bought a new homepod mini, but whenever I ask it to play some music, it always says: there's nothing in your music library. I've tried restart, sign out sign in, saying different instructions, but this is the only responde I get.

HomePod music library error Today i said hey Siri play some music. Which i have always done since the day i got 4 HomePod minis. And the usual response is “here’s a playlist just for you” today was “there is nothing in your music library” which is not true because i subscribe to Apple Music and have thousands of paid songs on my account. Anyone else deal with this / resolve yes yes i can pick songs and play them but that is not what the question about, the question is about why does the HomePod routine change and how to fix. thanks

HomePod mini can’t “find the music in your libabry” I have 3 HomePod minis and 2 of them don’t play any music based on voice commands and first says “one sec” then “on it” and finally “I couldn’t find——on your Apple Music library. on the one that works, my HomePod account is the primary account. On one of 2 that that doesn’t work it’s my name for the primary account, and the other it’s still my HomePod account. All of the devices are updated.

Why doesn't Apple Music play on my HomePod mini any more? I have an Apple Music subscription but since I upgraded my apple iPhone it won't play apple music when I ask. It does play from the iPhone. I have logged out and back in and restarted the device but it still will not play from Apple Music. It responds with I couldn't find that I your Apple Music library. What gives here

Are you still having this problem? I had exactly the same thing and finally solved it just now.

It turned out to be because I have two Apple IDs and the settings in the Home app were using the wrong one for media.
