Double Sided Print Option Greyed Out in Pages- specifically; All other apps/web work fine

I am on Sonoma 14.1.1. My Pages app will not allow me to print double sided. All other applications with the same printer can print double sided. On Pages, you can see the option is greyed out. Trying to print multiple copies of the document double sided is not possible. Any solutions? The other forums I read were not successful or relevant to the issue being isolated to Pages.

You must have a single-page document open in Pages for that print panel to not show the page count as seen below on Sonoma 14.1.1 and Pages v13.2. Even a single-page document on my print panel still shows Double-sided as On — though subdued as irrelevant.

We are using different devices with AirPrint, and I cannot explain why your Double-sided is forced off with only Pages. I have tested with word processing and layout format Pages documents and my Double-sided remains on.

You might try removing the Brother printer drivers and rebooting, and also confirming that you are using Pages v13.2. You might ensure that Pages is quit, and then remove the AirPrint printer and re-add it. Then right-click on the Printers entry and make it the default printer.

Then open a Pages document, click cmd+P, and see if the Double-sided is now on.
