Unable to sign in to iMessage and FaceTime on MacOS

I am able to use imessage and facetime on my iphone but unable to sign in on my apple silicon m2 macbook pro macOS 14.2

I get an error saying "An unknown error occurred." on the imessage login window and nothing on facetime.

I am able to login to icloud on the browser just fine with the same credentials.

I click on iMessage and it asks me to login with my Apple ID, I put in the correct username and password and it tells me "an unknown error occurred". I know that my username and password are correct, I double checked them and logged into my online AppleID account. I'm having a similar issue logging into FaceTime. I previously was able to make FaceTime calls from my Mac without any problem. FYI, I do not have an iPhone, I have an Android. Why is this happening and what can I do to fix it?

Unable to access FaceTime and iMessage on Mac I have MacBook with macOS 15.3 when I try to open FaceTime or message, it asks mail and password. But when I enter credentials, app is loading endlessly. On my iPhone everything is ok with the same account. I tried to reboot Mac and Crete a new local user but with the same result. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Unable to sign in to iMessage and FaceTime post macOS Sequoia update Sign in enters in a loop and stays like that forever until I kill the process. Before MacOS 15 I never had any issue with iMessage or FaceTime. [Re-Titled By Moderator]

Restart without remembering to open any open windows worked.
