I used Cmd_Shft 5 to record my entire Mac screen for a weekly training.
I stopped the recording.
Recording thumbnail Appeared in bottom right hand corner of screen.
I hit done. Now the recording is gone, not saved to my desktop.
How do I recover this recording? Thank you

you can use the keyboard shortcut "shift-command-5" to bring up the recording controls. then choose "options".
and then, in those options, check the "save to" location to see where the recording went.
but if you cannot locate it in that spot, it may be because you interacted with the floating thumbnail. I have seen issues when others (and myself) that when interacting with the "floating thumbnail" it can cause the recording to disappear, never to be found again. that is why I personally ALWAYS leave "show floating thumbnail" disabled.
