I locked my new phone it has no icloud

It’s a new iPhone 15 setting it up I turned off the phone and I forgot the password but I didn’t make no I lcloud

You will need to restore the device using a computer. The process will erase the device. Instructions here…

Follow the instructions in this link to erase / reset your iPhone and then set it up again. The phone will then look like it did when you first powered it up.

It might be a good idea to write down important items like your password and passcode and keep them in a safe place.....even if you are sure that you will never forget them.

Me too. I don't have enough fingers and toes to count the number of users who come here every day asking what to do when the forgot their passcode.


I have a little metal bound notebook, in a safe place, with every password I use for everything we have which uses a passcode/password. And when I change a code, I update the notebook religiously.
