Call of Duty Mobile sign in issues.

Hi all, just ran into the below issue on my sons account. "Please sign in to your device with your Apple ID and complete the two-factor authentication before attempting to log in with "Sign in with Apple"". I found an old thread from 2022 that suggested signing out of Apple ID, deleting the game and then trying again. I have tried this but no joy. Anyone experiencing this issue in 2023?
