No one can hear me on calls/Face Time on my iPhone 12 mini

my boyfriends phone calls and facetime haven’t been able to work for a few days. the phones been dropped before but this time when it dropped and he got a phone call later that night the person on the other end of the call couldnt hear him. we’ve tried resetting, updating, shutting it off- nothing seems to work. but heres my main question that’s confusing me- how come i can hear and talk to him on snapchats facetime/call and not on real iphone facetime or call?? shouldnt they be using the same speakers or whatever?

If you have a hearing or sound issue on your device then please try some of these processes to set it right

If the above options do not mitigate the issues then Contact your carrier and then Contact Apple Support
