Apple Numbers formula for tick box

Hi there.

I am wanting to create a formula for a tick box. For example, if I select Paid, from the drop down menu in W2, the tick box is automatically ticked in D2. There are other options in the drop down menu in W2, however I only want it ticked if 'Paid' is selected. Is this possible?

No. A cell with a check box cannot also contain a formula, which would be required in that case.

The only alternative is something like IF(W2="Paid","X","")
