In the past, my iPhone would show the duration of the call in progress. This feature seems to have been disabled, possibly through an update. How do I re-enable the feature so I can see the duration of the phone call currently in progress?

When a call has ended you can get the duration in recents you can also tap the i and it's also listed there, but it's also listed live on top of the calling screen while you are calling
Since you have an iPhone XS you will go onto the screen where you have the hang up option and all of that and it should be below the name or number of the caller. On an iPhone 14 Pro or later it can be found there or on the Dynamic Island. If it is not there then it may just be a visual issue and you can see the duration after the call by looking at your call history and click on the “I” or Info button and it will appear. If you need to see it while in a call than I would call Apple cause I’ve never had this issue.
It should be there. There is not a setting to turn it on. I would contact apple for this. Please also mark my messages as helpful and mark this as resolved. I’m new to this program and it would help me get promoted. Thanks!
What happens if you leave the phone app? If I recall, you see the duration in the upper left of the screen in white on green. Sorry, I was lucky enough to move up to a 15 Pro and I see it in the Dynamic Island.
I'm looking at the keypad with the hang-up option immediately beneath it. Call duration is not displayed. Do I have to turn it on in Settings?
The call duration should show immediately above the number you're calling. Note that it doesn't start until the call actually connects.
Apparently the time display goes away if the call is transferred or if you press numbers to respond to a menu.
