why are sent txts received in emails

Are these messages you're sending? Or messages you're receiving? If they are iMessages (blue)that you're sending, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive>Start New Conversation From and make sure that you're mobile number is selected.

If you mean something else, please explain.

You should check it with your carrier, does your cellular carrier have SMS to email enabled for your plan?
