I’d like to know exactly how the space is distributed. For example, before getting Apple One, I had 200gb, a family member 50gb on his own iCloud+ plan and other 3 members have the free 5gb respectively. How much do we get each? I got Apple One and got 400gb total so I’d like to know how that will be divided before sharing it, please.

The 400GB will be used by whoever puts data in it first; there isn't a technical way to allocate specific parts of it to individual people. The person who has the 50GB won't be able to access your plan without switching over, which cancels theirs.
