32bit Float support in Final Cut Pro

I have just acquired a new field audio recorder for recording audio for film. After watching a few videos that claimed that Final Cut Pro didn't support 32-bit Float audio, I wanted to ask here if this was limited to older versions of the software or if this was Final Cut Pro as a whole.
