PC to My passport to Mac

I recently transferred all of my photos from my PC to My passport external drive. How do I transfer those pictures to my Mac? Migration assistant did not work. Placing the photos in ICLOUD didn’t work either. Help!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.0

Hi pjacob22,

You can transfer photos to your Mac from your external drive using these steps:

  1. Connect your external drive to your Mac.
  2. Open the Photos app on your Mac.
  3. At the top of the screen, choose File -> Import.
  4. Navigate to where your photos are stored on the external drive and select them. If they're inside a folder, select that folder for import.
  5. Review the photos and import them.
