Iphone still emits high RF in airplane mode

I've been testing my iphone 13 with an EMF reader and while in airplane mode (bluetooth and wifi also off), my device is still measuring relatively high RF readings. I thought airplane mode was supposed to turn all of that off? Is my only option to avoid radiation to turn my phone off all the time? Could it be the "Find My" service that is still communicating, or something else? Any ideas? This is not cool.

Your only option to avoid radiation is to never use any cell phone, and to move to an area where there are no cell towers, no radio or TV stations and no power lines and no government airway beacons.

What is “relatively high?” The iPhone Find My Network leaves Bluetooth on for 24 hours after you turn the phone off so it can still be located if anyone with another iPhone comes within range, so even turning off the phone won’t stop Bluetooth. As the output power is 10 milliwatts, no one who knows anything about UHF radio signaling would not consider that “relatively high”.

You can go to Settings/[your name]/Find My and turn off Find My Network if you don’t want to use this feature to find your phone if it is lost.

Your phone also has a fast processor, so the clocking signal that runs the phone will also emit a small amount of RF interference whenever the phone is powered on. It’s range is just a couple of inches, however.
