I am trying to make a claim with Asurian for my Grandsons iPhone but his phone won’t let him turn off the find my phone feature

can’t turn off Find My iPhone I can’t turn off Find My iPhone on my iPhone 14 pro. I followed the detailed instructions but the switch is gray and cannot be turned off 1) Open Settings. 2) Tap [your name] > Find My. 3) Tap Find My [Device], then tap to turn it off. I can’t continue to the next steps because the switch is gray and cannot be turned off 4) Enter your Apple ID password. 5) Tap Turn Off.
