iOS 17.1.1 Issues on iPhone

My phones volume is ALL MESSED UP. Connected to Bluetooth in my car? can hardly hear, but all volumes are maxed.

connect to my AirPods? Music is fine, but all notifications of any kind are SO GD LOUD I can’t wear them.

volume is low, but 50% of the day my keyboard clicks were so loud I had to silence my phone. I didn’t even know that the clicks could be that loud! It was insane!

all my ringtones and alert sounds are changed/different - not a fan.

anyone else experiencing any of these issues?

My phone updated almost two days ago to iOS 17 and it’s been super slow/ laggy. Some apps completely froze, Findmy isn’t working AT ALL, no family members shown. Locations inside message info aren’t working like it should either, with live and refresh ability. Only seems to show old data. This is what I’ve noticed in two days. Does anyone know how to go back to IOS 16 until they figure out these bugs?

Not being able to set a song as an alarm has been an issue since October 2023. It’s pathetic that a gazillion dollar company cannot make a simple function like simply assigning a purchased song to an alarm. I literally think my krazer from the 90s could do that. I’ve called four times about that issue and they keep telling me it’s a known issue, but they keep not fixing it.

I am having the same problem and AppleCare says that it’s because I have already sent the text that I can’t edit. That is not the case and I keep stressing that this is a new text and it is impossible to move the cursor to a specific location to edit the text before it is sent. The response I keep getting is that I am trying to edit a text that has already been sent and that is not the case. Extremely frustrating. Has anyone discovered a fix for this either on their own or through AppleCare?

Ios 17.1 destroyed my iPhone 12 max pro. My phone froze up and the only thing that happens is the apple symbol flashes. Took it tothe Genius bar and they said the CPU was fryed. Thats right the IOS 17.1 distroyed my phone. Sure seems odd that the update came and my iphone 12 was distroyed. Guess i have to buy a iphone 15. Guess apple made the iphone 12 so good that they had to push the self destruct button and fry my phone.

IOS 17 (including the very latest revision as of this post) definitely includes bugs impacting ringer volume. I have confirmed this on iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max.

Set the ringer volume to a specific setting in Sounds & Haptics—ringer volume upon receiving an incoming call intermittently DOES NOT ring in at the volume set in Sounds & Haptics. In fact, more often it DOES NOT respect the selected volume level.

long time Apple proponent, very disappointed by the deterioration of quality in software releases as of late.

I had or had a perfect iPhone 12pro max. I downloaded the 17.1.1 and it totally screwed my phone up it was shutting down on its own, and internet and cellular would not stay connected at all most times couldn’t even make a simple phone call. Called apple and they set me to an Apple related store at Best Buy and got no fix. Had to buy another phone I hate. Is Apple going to do anything about the phone,
