iOS 17.1.1 Issues on iPhone

My Phone is operating like a bag of bolts since the 17.1.1

update.

Lots of niggly faults have appeared, the worst one if when

trying to send phots via WhatsApp, or Air Drop etc I have a row of blank

circles that used to be the options to send, the App icons that are still there,

don’t work, unable to send address book phone numbers via text.

I try rebooting the phone, but air drop still cannot find the

contact, even when I'm tapping the phones together, (and yes, I have air drop active for EVERYONE)

Bluetooth fails to connect on so many devices, I have to go

and manually connect, or it shows as connected but not operating.

My phone worked PERFECTLY with NO ISSUES prior to this

update ☹

In the photo below, none of the App icons are active (do not work)

Doesn’t fix anything. Tried it.

Since the upgrade, songs from my library just play, without being prompted.

Feels like my phone is haunted.

This release is a joke. They should be sued for this. My phone worked perfectly before this and they don’t care. They’ll probably delete this because they can’t handle the truth.

My AppleID is messed up. I can still buy songs, but they don’t come stamped with a year, so organization is a mess. When it backs up to the cloud my albums will randomly be split, etc. I know that it’s a metadata issue, but the sooner it’s fixed the better.

The main issue I have been experiencing is places where I had 1 or 2 bars(my gym) but still able to listen to XM or Apple Music, I now get no signal even though phone shows 4-5 bars. wondering if everyone is having this issue along with the insane battery drain using iPhone 13 Pro. sucks

Since the update, my Google maps freezes up on my carplay. It’s challenging to text at times as the cursor doesn’t move exactly where I put it or the caps tends to go off before I hit the letter. But what has really upset me was the changes to the audio messages. Now they automatically send with a text copy. I didn’t ask or approve of that. There should be an option to turn it off. It also causes a delay in sending the audio messages.

I’ve had NOTHING but issues since it downloaded. Been thinking I’ll write apple. Pulling up old deleted text. Can’t delete them either! My contact list is jacked up. Several other concerns as well. A 9 yr old could have done better than this foogle knot

I am having so many issues since the upgrade. I wish I never did it. I have an iPhone 12 and I no longer receive alarms from my continuous glucose monitor, nor am I able to allow Bluetooth access to re-establish my alarms. Also, I cannot get access to my Snapchat because I no longer have camera access on the app. When I go under permissions for Snapchat the camera doesn’t even show up to allow access. This is so messed up!!!

Ok so then maybe we don’t know our own phones as well as you know our individual phone’s? I’m sorry but apple is known for mysteriously pushing users to buy new phones. They spend millions on ads and promotions. It’s easy to tweak software to cause subtle issues to older phones

My sound has been fine but since the update my charging has been playing up. Started off saying water detected and losing power when it’s plugged in. No issues before the update it started immediately after

Entirely killed my 12 promax.

I have a white screen now and the shutdown button is not working. I go on call tomorrow for all networking for a fortune 20 retail company tomorrow and my login functions like RSA are all through this phone. Knew I should have finished moving everything to the android I'm typing this on before this oncall... Sigh.

This is why I now have an android as backup now and not two iPhones. Not actually ready for enterprise use.

Getting with our MDM people and seeing if they have a fix. It's been sounding like there are a lot of issues with this update. Definitely the nail in the coffin for IOS phone being my primary work phone.

But that’s the problem - it DID fundamentally change operation of my phone. I’ve lost contact pics and some of my contacts are no longer recognized.

I can live without seeing a contact pic but to completely ignore my contacts is unacceptable!

Me too. I had NO issues before the upgrade. Now texts are layered, and I can't get to the underneath layers. Swiping doesn't work. Neither does tapping or pressing in various places. Whatever this new feature is, it is not helpful.
