iOS 17.1.1 Issues on iPhone

My phones volume is ALL MESSED UP. Connected to Bluetooth in my car? can hardly hear, but all volumes are maxed.

connect to my AirPods? Music is fine, but all notifications of any kind are SO GD LOUD I can’t wear them.

volume is low, but 50% of the day my keyboard clicks were so loud I had to silence my phone. I didn’t even know that the clicks could be that loud! It was insane!

all my ringtones and alert sounds are changed/different - not a fan.

anyone else experiencing any of these issues?

I had NO issues with my iphone sounds prior to the iOS 17.1.1 update. The upgrade DID "alter the fundamental functionality of the device...there were [NO] underlying issues before this update."

Unfortunately, your response does not address the fact that my alert and notification tones are silent. The haptics work.

I figured it out. I was auto connected to a bluetooth speaker that was not being used. I turned the option on that speaker to "Not Connected." That solved the problem.

However, I had been connected to that speaker when it was not in use prior to this last upgrade and I had not experienced this issue.

After 2 calls to “Senior Advisor's” the only suggestion they had was to restore my phone back to factory settings. Well I just spent an hour doing it and still no alerts or sounds. I called apple again and the senior advisor I spoke to this time said I had to bring the phone in for repair. After some insulting words by me, she offered to replace the phone, but forgot to mention the $30 charge! So not only did apple screw up my perfectly working phone, but now they want me to pay to get another working phone. This whole scenario reeks of apples last boondoggle of slowing down older model phones to force people into newer models!

My Phone is operating like a bag of bolts since the 17.1.1

update.

Lots of niggly faults have appeared, the worst one if when

trying to send phots via WhatsApp, or Air Drop etc I have a row of blank

circles that used to be the options to send, the App icons that are still there,

don’t work, unable to send address book phone numbers via text.

I try rebooting the phone, but air drop still cannot find the

contact, even when I'm tapping the phones together, (and yes, I have air drop active for EVERYONE)

Bluetooth fails to connect on so many devices, I have to go

and manually connect, or it shows as connected but not operating.

My phone worked PERFECTLY with NO ISSUES prior to this

update ☹

In the photo below, none of the App icons are active (do not work)

I’ve had Bluetooth connectivity issues since 17.1.1. My AirPods and Bluetooth speakers randomly disconnect or go in and out. It’s super annoying size I use my AirPods throughout the day.

I took my phone to the Apple Store, all they said the could do was reset my phone. And when I say reset, they wanted to delete all my apps and setting and start fresh. The only thing I could keep were my calls, messages, and photos. I have my phone super customized to my liking so starting over is not something I want to do.

I know it was the update that messed everything up. I was hoping 17.1.2 would help, but it didn’t.

Apple please fix it!!!!!
