Deauthorising devices that are shaded out under "Authorised Devices^

Hello,

We have three Computers and five iPads & phones associated with my Apple ID. Strangely, two of our oldest devices (An iPhone SE & an iPad Air 2) show twice in the list, with the "oldest" association date greyed out. This of course means that we are up to the limit of ten devices total although we only have in total eight devices.

On the main Accounts page it gives the option to Deauthorise all associated Computers, but it does not mention Devices. Would this also deauthorise the iPads & Phones so we could regain these two slots, or would deauthorising these specific devices do that?

Extra question - our Apple TV does not show on that list; is this normal?

Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can give!

Thank you for the answer. I took the plunge this morning, & deleted the "newest" instances of the two devices, & they have remained signed in & iTunes is still working on both. If there is a need to sign out & sign back in on either & a second instance occours, I will as you suggested contact Apple Support.

Thanks again to both of you for your replies & help :-)
