Best way to manage many windows of the same app

Hi, it happens to me to have several windows of Microsoft Teams (but this can be generalized) opened on different Desktops. The annoying thing is that in this case if I clic on the icon of the app on the Dock nothing happens (that, I think, is due to the fact that the Mac does not know which window/desktop it should switch to. It is very inconvenient, especially while having many softwares open at once. On Windows, for instance, multiple windows of the same app are clearly visible in the menu bar. Thank you!

If you click and hold on the Dock icon, most apps have a list of open windows you can select.

You can also use Mission Control to show all application windows. You can configure a gesture in the Trackpad Settings.
