4k Movies on TV

Hi,

I recently purchased " Puss in Boots : Last Wish " in 4k.

and I like to pre-download my shows since my internet connection is superslow, but I've noticed it's not downloading 4k but HD instead.. is there a way that I can download it in 4k ?

How to stream 4K versions of downloaded movies from TV app on Mac? I've downloaded purchased movies from the TV app on my MacBook because I don't have wifi or cellular service where I live. However when I am able to connect on wifi I'd like to stream the 4k versions (if available) but the app only plays the downloaded 1080p version. Is there a way to stream the 4k version if I've already downloaded the 1080p version? A quick search suggests deleting the movie from my library then streaming it but that isn't ideal as I'd have to redownload it to watch offline in the future. Any suggestions much appreciated. Movie Upgrade From HD to 4K Normally, when a new version of a movie or TV show I’ve previously bought on Apple TV is released, I get a free upgrade from HD to 4K. However, that doesn’t seem to have happened with “John Carpenter’s Halloween”. I’ve been eagerly awaiting the new 4K version to be released and it seems to now be available. However, it’s asking me to Buy the new version, rather than it simply being available to play. I was wondering if anyone could help me, please?

No. Downloads are HD only. 4K is only available to stream directly.
