Will there be power issues related to charging when I take my MacBook Air to India?

Nope. All you need is an inexpensive plug adapter. Your Mac's power adapter will accept any utility power source available anywhere on Earth.

Just make sure you have the proper power adapter and you should be good to go, I wouldn't use a power converter plugged in to your USA charger.

You can likely find a supported Indian power adapter on amazon or just buy one when from the Indian Apple Store when you get home and it should work fine. I travel between Europe and North American often and have a power adapter for each continent. Never experienced any issues.

I traveled in China and was able to use my Mac there. I assume India is no different. Macs will accept either 120 volts, used in the USA, or 240 volts used elsewhere. You will need an adapter, however because different connecters are used. I suggest that you consult Apple's web site to confirm specifics.

Shouldnt be. I have a macbook pro purchased in India and now I use the same in Canada (have to use adapter) but not issue whatsoever. Though my case is opposite of yours but vice versa should be okay too :)
