How do I make Siri recognize ONLY my voice? My iPhone and iPad have started to respond to my wife's "My Siri" commands as well as my own. Her iPhone will not accept her command, when my iPhone/iPad responds. Our iPhones and iPads are all running on the latest, iOS 16.5. This is a relatively new occurrence (only in the last update or two).

Siri & Voice Recognition My wife and I both have iPhone 13, and she has an older iPhone 11 for work. On our personal iPhone 13s, Siri will only respond to the "Hey Siri" from the owner of the phone who set Siri up. OTOH, although I had nothing to do with setting Siri up on my wife's work phone, Siri responds to my wife's or my "Hey Siri". While that might seem to be beneficial, the other night when using my flashlight via my Siri, I think we nearly had a fire under her work phone. We checked, and her iPhone 11 from work does recognize my "Hey Siri" as well as my wife's voice. How unusual is this? Can all iPhones be made to do this? When is Siri going to get smarter? Thanks

My iPad Pro recognizes my wife’s voice. Per an earlier thread on the subject, I reset Siri. My iPad Pro recognizes my voice every time. It also continues responding to my wife’s voice. For example, she’ll be holding her iPhone 11, asking it to set a timer while I’m 15 feet away, using my iPad. Her iPhone ignores the request and my iPad acknowledges and sets a timer. We have separate Apple ID’s but do subscribe to Apple One. But, I’m pretty sure this behavior existed before we signed up for Apple One…. Help!

:) Maybe because she uses Siri more often than you, because she turned on Improve Siri & Dictation in Privacy & Security Analytics and Improvements, maybe she uses Dictation and Voice controls more often.Maybe she speaks more clearly not too fast and not too slow, maybe you didn't set your language with regional accent like for the many English listed...Maybe it's because when you setup the iPhone she setup Siri in the first place

iPhones will recognize any voice, not just the owner's. Are you saying that, when you say, "Hey, Siri..." the phone doesn't recognize you've spoken?
