iphone 15 wireless charging no longer possible

I noticed that all of a sudden, my iPhone 15 pro max stopped charging wirelessly.

When I put the iPhone on my charger, the lightning symbol appears on the phone indicating that it is charging. But the battery level does nog increase.

On another wireless charger, nothing happens at all.

In the battery screen, you can see that the phone was on the wireless charger from 00 until 09. The charging symbol is displayed but the battery level does not increase. When I,plug in the usb c, the phone charges as expected.

I have a similar issue with my iPhone 14 Pro on a wireless charging stand, the camera bump interferes with the charging and works for a bit, and then faults. It work fine on iPhones with no camera bump like my XS that I previously owned but not my 14 Pro and my friends 15.

Good point. You should position the phone so the camera is not resting on the pad.

Sadly, I can't do that as mine is a standing up dock so I have switched back to a cable for now.

I tried two different wireless charging stands, both of which worked fine with my iPhone 13 and my iPhone 15 until a couple of days ago. I plugged the cable that goes to the charging stand directly into the phone and it charges without problems.

So my hardware hasn’t changed, and it suddenly stops working. Could it be a software issue related to a iOS update???

Got my update last night and charging has stopped via any path. No cable, no mag safe, it just keeps dropping. I've tried a number of cables but no joy. I've forced reboot three times this morning. I have used each of those items to charge this phone over the last week. Haven't found any working combination yet and it reads 14% ... I feel a little like I'm on the Titanic. I have a couple of 30W adapters coming overnight so I'll let you know but my current adapters are 25W so I expect no improvement; my Galaxie S23 (work number) charges via by all these routes just fine.

Follow-up; there is no issue. Its a long story so here's the short one: use the cable that came with the phone.

I was actually using that in my office so, if I went in there to work, it was charging. It seems the battery lasts a lot longer than I originally thought as apparently I only have to charge it once or twice a week ... EoF

Sorry for the misstep.

I have updated to 17.3.1 and the MagSafe has stopped charging, it is an iPhone 15 Pro. All good till then. (Yesterday). We have 2 Apple MagSafe chargers and it works on neither. It will charge via USB3 port however. My wife’s phone is working just fine. I have tried off and on and a forced shutdown neither has worked, I have turned off all battery management. Anyone any ideas? Otherwise I’m back in town Friday and Apple Store lookout, I’m coming .
