Mac OS Impossible to Review Verification Code When Adding Internet Account
Hello, I'd like to highlight a design flaw in macOS 14 (and possibly older versions). I configured a verification code for my Microsoft account password. However, when attempting to add this account to Internet Accounts in System Settings app, I encountered an issue at the step of entering the verification code.
The problem arises because the process occupies the Settings app, making it impossible to access the verification code in the Password section of the System Settings app. Additionally, the system doesn't automatically propose the verification code.
Fortunately, I managed to log into my account by viewing the code on my iPhone. However, I can imagine that users relying solely on a Mac may find it challenging to add an internet account when they need to enter the verification code.
P.S., the verification code I'm referring to is a dynamic code that changes every 30 seconds, not a code received by message or email.
