Apple pencil is discharging automatically even when it’s docked with the iPad

Apple pencil is discharging automatically even when it’s docked with the iPad. & it is not charging to 100%. It’s getting charged upto 97%.

After a certain period of time Apple Pencil is not charging even when it is docked with the iPad correctly. I have to remove the pencil and docked it again then it’s charging again. If I don’t remove and docked again the pencil discharge automatically. That’s why if I left the ipad for 4-5 hours I found my pencil at 0% or in low battery.

I have bought it just two months ago.
