I would like to update macOS and Safari but I cannot find updates. It says no updates available

I would like to update both macOS and Safari. I have a Sierra macOS and Safari 12.1.2 I search for updates from several different locations including the magnifier in the right top corner of the screen and all I get is no updates available. I also checked the App Store

Back up your data, check the application compatibility table, click here, and then on the download link for a newer OS. A Mac running Sierra can be upgraded at least as far as High Sierra.

Catalina and above won't run 32-bit software; if you choose one of them, use Go64 as well.

No standalone Safari updates are available for your version.
