Removing "Search Marquis" / "Search Baron" / etc on your own- REPLY of JOHN GALT to JMG393

Received a reply from John Galt on my issue with my McAir regarding "Pipidae- Move to trash" and was given by John instructions on "Removing "Search Marquis" / "Search Baron" / etc on your own". These are the screenshots that I got from my McAir.

Can anyone enlighten me further.... thank you to all who will reply to this issue.

JMGonzales393, the first two screenshots are of the same folder. Nevertheless, restart your Mac in "Safe Mode" (see below) and remove all the files in that folder.

  • You don't have to remove com.Opera_Helper.plist. That one is ok.

Back up your Mac as a matter of course. To learn how to use Time Machine please read Back up your files with Time Machine on Mac - Apple Support.
