Will camera be supported in simulator?

I'm curious about why simulators can't open the camera.

We can build an app for the device "My Mac(Designed for iPad)" to open the camera, so I think it's possible for a normal iPhone simulator to open the camera.

Will camera be supported in future?

No one here likely knows the answer to that. The “why?” questions are usually best left to Apple.

I’d test with some real devices anyway, as the simulators can diverge from reality elsewhere, too.
